Want your kids to experience a fun way of learning about America’s attempt to build the intercontential railroad during the late 1800s? This might just be the book! This is the thirteenth volume of the Geronimo Stilton Graphic Novel series. It wasn’t my top favorites in this series but it was still fun to read that my girls wanted me to read it to them twice. This might just be the book! This is the thirteenth volume of the Geronimo Stilton Graphic Novel series. It wasn’t my top favorites in this series but it was still fun to read that my girls wanted me to read it to them twice. The mouse Geronimo Stilton is a news reporter who was summoned by Professor Von Volt to go back in time through a time machine to stop the Pirate Cats from changing history. This time the adventure takes them to Wild West as they were building the railroad. The Pirate Cats are undercover and attempted to sabotage the efforts to build the railroad in order to be able to promote the idea of dirgibles to travel across the United States from Coast to Coast. But Geronimo and his family and friends are out to stop them and along the way adventures ensues including blown up bridges, fast traveling railroad steam engines and galloping on horseback! This was a fun and historically informative read.

A fun part of American history! More action this time, so the writing suffers a little, yet still manages to be educational and entertaining.
