    Tpagirl Loves Romance

Jase and Carly: Summer Lovin’ was a novella within the Men of Steel series by MJ Fields. It was a short follow up to book one, Jase, and focused on their engagement. It could easily have been included in their main story or as a side story within book two.

2.5 Nothing all that exciting. Jase and Carly seemed immature and it was a disconnect for me compared to how their story ended (Book 1, Jase). They have a last minute wedding on the beach that is about a sentence long. Very underwhelming. This introduces the reader to Tara, who ends up with Cyrus. However, I'm sure there isn't anything in this story that you won't find out in the next book. My suggestion.....skip it. 2.5 Nothing all that exciting. Loved how they came together, but not without a fight from both of them. I have enjoyed this series and am looking forward to reading about the Steel brothers and their stories. I hope that we get to continue to see Jase and Carly in their stories - I want to see how it goes when they are actually living together as a family with Little Bell.

Pure unadulterated hot, hard Steel Drunk Carly is hilarious. I also really enjoyed reading about Carly experiencing things for the first time. In all her awkwardness, her shyness takes a backseat to her becoming a force to be reckoned with especially when she feels someone she cares about is being threatened in anyway. I was given an ARC copy by the author for an honest review. I absolutely loved this series. What more could you ask for. Hot bad boys with tattoos and piercings. Carly and Jase's love for one another is one of a kind. I'm glad to see that they got their happy ending. Carly in this book made me laugh.. well there were several parts of this book that made me laugh. I think I like drunk Carly. Looking forward to reading more about these sexy men. Tattooed bad boy Jase asked Carly to tie the knot at the end of Jase, Men of Steel. Now, in Jase & Carly Summer Lovin' we delve farther into their relationship to see if they have an ever lasting love or just hot, steamy sex in very inappropriate places. This was a quick, steamy read that left me wanting even more! I love the Steel men and can't wait for Cyrus' story! Tattooed bad boy Jase asked Carly to tie the knot at the end of Jase, Men of Steel. If you’ve read Jase you MUST Read Jase and Carly: Summer Lovin’. It’s a great read and gives you more of these two together now that they finally have their crap together and are together and engaged. I was laughing so hard, he had no clue what to do, but knew it made him mad. Their fights become huge, and some end up with them all over each other, but it shows real relationships and that’s why I love this story. Everyone fights with their significant other and sometimes it’s about the most stupid things, but it happens, and I believe MJ Fields did a great job of showing this. Even though it was a very short read, I felt that we got a lot more insight into these two and loved how the story ended. Jase is so worried that he’s whipped, but he’s not, he’s just found someone worth all the things he never did before (flowers, dates, emotions, etc.). The ending of this book was amazing and I am so happy to see they got even more of a HEA than they did in Jase. We also got to meet Tara who we meet in Cyrus, and get some more of her story. I was one of those that read this one AFTER reading Cyrus so it was cool to go back and see how these two really met. I really like this series and can’t wait to continue reading the rest of these books. MJ Fields has a way of making you fall in love with these “Bad boys” and the girls they fall for. Her writing is amazing, in a novel, or in this case a novella, and will have you always wanting more of her characters!

WOW! Just WOW! I was so glad that there was more of Jase & Carly's story. They play hard, fight hard and love bigger than life. If you are looking for a sweet love story, this is not it. There are lots of obstacles before they finally end up at I Do. But sometimes especially something this good has to be tested and tested again. It is like neither can believe they are just that lucky. But trust me when I say it is worth the time to get to the HEA. If I have a negative it is I want more. I am hopi WOW! Just WOW! I MOST CERTAINLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book and the whole series.

This is the conclusion of Jase and Carly's story... I mean FINALLY. Its more of the same as the first book. This story was such a fun continuation of Jase and Carly’s story. Now that Jase and Carly are living in the same town they are forced to face the realities of their relationship. Jase deals with things head on, sometimes before thinking them through, while Carly prefers to overthink things and shut herself down. Carly and Jase have to figure out if they can accept each other despite their flaws and find a way to make their love always come first. This story was just what I needed for Carly and Jase. It was organic and honest and it made me love them even more than I already did. Change is terrifying and challenging and nothing bothers me more than characters who seem to somehow completely avoid that reality and ride off into the sunset. Carly and Jase face life together in a way that is real and raw and emotional. It strengthened my connection to their story and made me feel like I was a part of it. M.J. Fields knows how to tug on a reader's heartstrings and she had me reeling with emotion the entire time. I loved seeing the rest of the Steel family in this novella. Their family always keeps me laughing and on the edge of my seat waiting to see what shenanigans they’ll get into next! We get to see more of Carly with the other Steel men and watching her hold her own with them is endlessly entertaining. Seeing more of the Steel men got me excited to read their individual stories. They each have such unique personalities and together they are the perfect storm. M.J. Fields has created an awesome family full of colorful and complex characters. I can’t help but wish I was a part of their crazy brood. I enjoyed this next piece of Jase and Carly’s story and I can’t wait to see more of them in the other brothers’ books.

This book begins right where Jase left off. Yes, he proposed and of course she said yes, but just because you think that automatically equals ‘Happily Ever After’ it doesn’t. Whether it be other men or other devices. “I watched he body literally twitch. Take that you fucking mouse!” Now that was just funny. I cannot believe he reacted so harshly and territorial over a gift given to Carly. This book is a little more intense than its predecessor and I think that’s because they already overcame everything that was keeping them apart. Now all they had to do was deal with the things coming between them. It was also filled with more humor, which I absolutely loved. Of course most of that was because of Jase’s over-reactions. “Baby, I get it all right?” I did, I so did. “Don’t ever ask Carly to call me Daddy, or she is gonna fuck the pink thing. Yeah, I get it.” “So help me God, baby if that thing is making you come I am going to fucking lose my shit.” This story will end in the same place it all began. A surfboard in the ocean. And getting there is one hell of an enjoyable ride! My Favorite Laughable Moment: A surprise gone wrong. Carly’s reaction and her thoughts were hilarious! “I covered my mouth quickly in shock, could he do that? Was that gross? Was it normal for men? That’s shit I’ve never seen or heard of…or even read about in a damn book!” “Note to self, do not ever leave him alone for this long again, that’s just wrong!”

This book picks up where Jase left off. First let me say MJ fields writes some emotional books. She also writes these emotional books with a sensuality that will knock your socks off. Sure they are in love, engaged and all that jazz but she feels lost. Jase doesn't push her to commit to a date and this makes her feel insecure. Although the steamy moments don't make it seem so especially the opening office scene. Holy batcave batman! Unfortunately she is though and this spills over into their relationship. As they navigate this new status of love they are in many things get in the way. Or let me rephrase that, many things that shouldn't get in the way and some are blown out of proportion. She doesn't understand some of Jase's actions and he doesn't always open up to her about them. In the end though love is what wins out and you see that love can conquer everything. A nice sexy read that will put a smile on your face.

Jase and Carly: Summer Lovin' picks up right where Jase ended. Now that Jase and Carly are engaged they must not only work together but learn to live as a family. This is by far the funniest book I have read in a long time. Jase often gets jealous of other men or things that make Carly very happy in a sexual way that can take his place.
