Being born in 1951 I fond this book interesting until the mid to late 70's then less so. I was reminded of some items I had either possessed or seen in my young days which I had completely forgotten about. I think that because of the years the book covers different generations will find parts more interesting than others.

Very interesting read however, i was really looking forward to the 80's (when i was born) and i was quite dissapointed. Not really much was happening! The book started off on a positive attitude then after the 60's it all kinda went down hill.

The first section was interesting, but once the author had dealt with the sixties it got a bit boring.
