Billy always felt like he must have been inadequate in the bedroom and that is why Angel dumped him. What other reason could she have possibly had? He never got over her... Hasn't even had a real relationship since. Now she is demanding a paternity test and child support for a child that she says is his! If Gabriella is his why didn't she tell him she was pregnant?! If she is just after money... Why didn't she come after him when he signed his first profootball contract and started making the big bucks? Why wait five years and then some? Why now? The timing means the kid COULD be his... Does he stand a chance at making them a real family? Will he be able to win her back? Angel would not be asking Billy for anything at all if she had a choice! Her degenerate gambler father (besides withholding affection her entire life and making her break up with Billy in the first place) died and left her with nothing and a huge debt ontop of it. To give Gabby any kind of life, she now has to ask the man who didn't want her or their child to do right by them. Will they be able to come to terms for Gabby's sake? Or will there be a long drawn out court battle for support and custody? Will be try to take Gabby away from her? ***This series is suitable for adult readers who enjoy chicklit steamy sports romances with a HEA and a good dose of humor :)

This was nice story about Angel and Billy having a second chance at their happily ever after. Billy and Angel were in love when they were seventeen but she broke things off due to external pressures that she wasn't even aware of until later on. Billy had his heart broken so he threw himself into the football player lifestyle. The second Billy learns about his daughter, he goes back to Angel to see what they can do. I gave this one four stars because it was enjoyable but a little short. I would h This was nice story about Angel and Billy having a second chance at their happily ever after. I gave this one four stars because it was enjoyable but a little short. I would have liked this more if it was a little longer but it is the perfect beach read. I liked Angel and Billy as characters but they were already fully developed when we begin the story. The one change is Angel not letting her father's past sins color her future with Billy and Billy standing up for Angel. I have to say that Gabby was adorable (Okay, Poopyhead). She added this extra layer to the story but I really liked that while they were focusing on what was best for Gabby they were equally as concerned about what was healthy for them as a couple. Overall, this was a quick fun read.

Also in audio: http://www.audible.com/pd/Romance/Hud... I just love Liz Matis' football stories! The characters are fun, and Liz seems to have the inside scoop on what goes on behind the scenes in football (press boxes, locker rooms, etc.). I enjoyed this sweet story about getting second chances. Angel and Billy are living proof of the saying if you love someone that badly, let them go. If they come back, it is meant to be. Liz does a wonderful job of relaying that message. If you love football, you will love this sweet story.

I love Angel, Billy and their daughter! This is a feel-good, second-chance story. I also loved seeing some of the characters from her other Fantasy Football series books here, too.
