Can I like give 6 stars out of 5? It's been a long time since I have found a book that I like so much and find so very useful for the equipping of the saints to do God's work (Eph. 4:12)! Adam4d is a gifted artist with a brilliant scholarly mind. His dedication to the word of God is conveyed through satirical cartoons and lingo of young people today. You probably will not regret buying a couple of copies to keep as standby presents (a pity that at the time of writing, the price went from ~US$10 to about US$12.50 and has not gone down since)! The content, while deeply serious, is presented in such a light hearted manner (and with accompanying lively illustrations). Youth and young adult leaders/pastors will find that book is a brilliant bridge to these crucial theological and hermeneutical concepts. It will definitely prod the interest of the reader and you may find them asking actually you what the author is trying to convey. I recommended the book to one of my classmates, and when I passed it to him, we seminary students happened to be on an outing for food and more food. The book was in great demand with much competition to devour the highly engaging content. The friendly snatching back-and-forth and demands of "MY TURN!" is testimony to how Adam4d has put deep theological truths in a language that young people thoroughly identify with. All they need is a pastor-teacher to build on from that foundation to explain the deep truths of the faith and how to keep hold of them (1 Tim. 3:9 NIV)...

I have always enjoyed Adam's comics. Not only are they hilarious at times, but they are at other times very convicting & on many occasions resonate with me. His comics are available online of course, but I would highly suggest purchasing his books to support him so that he can keep up the excellent work. I have always enjoyed Adam's comics. I kinda think every kid, teen, young adult, mid-lifers and seniors should read this! And then ponder over its message

A great coffee table book. Crack it open to any one of the comics, read it and you will never be at a loss for something to mull over. This book may also be used as an evangelistic tool.

Late last year I began seeing posts on Twitter from some of my Christian brethren linking to a number of cartoons. Naturally, this piqued my curiosity as many of the men sharing these comics were more of what I would consider, well, not comic strip kind of guys. After spending what seemed like a couple of hours on the Adam4d.com website, I was hooked. Written and illustrated by Mr. Adam Ford (4d, get it?), the web comics at Adam4d strike a wonderful balance between solid theology and entertainment nicely packaged in a plethora of pithy strips. Mr. Ford describes Adam4d as, “A curiously Christian webcomic…” which, I would add, adheres to a right understanding and handling of the Word of God. I quite enjoy the Author's website Adam4d.com, so it comes as no surprise that I grabbed his first book, which is based on his webcomic. This is an excellent little book, that is easy to read (given its comic-like approach) whilst also being challenging. You don't always have to agree with the Author's theology (though I find I mostly do) to get something to think about from each article.

I enjoy many of Adam's web comics; and this compilation in book format was just as good. He has a fun style with content that makes you reflect on the truth of the Christian Scriptures in contrast to the culture (either of modern America or modern evangelicalism).

Nothing new here if you've read the webcomics. It's nice to have them in print, though! The theology is sound, and while the comics aren't funny, they'll make you think whether or not you agree with them.
