In the third installment of the Castle of Dark Dreams series, immortal warrior Conall O’Rourke finally meets the last descendent of the hated Kavanagh family. He’d killed the cruel Sean Kavanagh in battle 800 years ago, and the Irish goddess, Morrigan, cursed Conall to immortally so he could protect the Kavanagh descendents until the last one died. Gerry Kavanugh is a vampire. Turned against her will two years earlier under circumstances never explained in the book, Conall and Gerry’s dislike of one another quickly turns to lust, but their relationship is like a tug-of-war. Between the cruel Morrigan and three demonic vestal virgins trying to destroy Conall and Gerry’s relationship, and a mysterious demon named Dell trying to kill Gerry, the H/h have their hands full. Though it’s sad that Deimos left, his replacement in Sparkle’s candy store is drop-dead hunky. Edge is like Sparkle and Ganymede, a cosmic troublemaker, but he seems to be the only one of the three with a strong, sane head on his shoulders. There were a few loose ends in the book not tied up. Where were Sweetie Pie and Jessica? Is ‘Gerry’ the heroine’s full name or a nickname? I also wanted to know more about Conall’s human past and how he figured out Dell’s real identity. Since I’m a fan of dirty-talkers, I was happy to read more cursing in this book than in the previous ones. It’s still not a lot, but more than I expected. This is my favorite book of the series. 4 Stars Disclaimer – I won a print copy of this book in a contest and volunteered to review it. If you’ve read the previous books then you’ll be happy to know that all your favorite characters are with you again to bring you constant entertainment and an abundance of laughter. Our cosmic troublemakers are still creating chaos and sizzling romance with our hero and heroine. I was laughing out loud at the witty comments from the sentient pocket sized demon detector and burning in excitement with the red hot love between Conall and Gerry. Conall was cursed over 700 years ago to be the protector of the descendants of a man he killed in battle. Because that man was a favorite of the Goddess Morrigan, he now lives in immortality to serve and protect the first born Kavanagh’s. Gerry Kavanagh is the last descendant of that man and Conall has hopes the curse will end with Gerry. Conall is surprised and frustrated when he discovers Gerry is a female and a newly made vampire to boot. More complications come when the attraction between them become dangerous because someone is out to kill Gerry. You’ll be burning through the pages while you follow along with Conall and Gerry through all the hijinx and scorching sex and gasp in delight in the final chapter at the Castle of Dark Dream. Wicked fantasy is a great read and I enjoyed every minute of it. Nina Bangs has created a story with outrageous and hilarious characters and a romance that will make you wish for your own fantasy at the Castle. It goes on my bookself as a keeper. Enjoy!

AS the questions form, the coincidences come together, things begin to connect, she is pretty sure she doesn't have the right answers or the history behind it. Will wither of them get to the bottom of it before it's too late? I absolutely love books that can make me laugh and still have the adventure and drama mixed in with the paranormal aspect. It's one of the reasons this author is on my favorite author list. Great read, highly recommended.

Like always the two main characters get together, lust after one another, deny that they love each other until they both come out and say it, and then they get married. When I start a series I like to read all of the books to it, even if they are predictable. Anyway, it was okay, a quick read for me. I really enjoyed the book. Love the humor and snappy dialog. I love the way the author pits her characters against their own inner conflicts. The characters are well drawn and even the 'good guys' have flaws. Repeat characters: Sparkle cracks me up. Hogarth's sarcasm is a hoot and he is one of my favorites.

I enjoy anything Nina Bangs writes and she outdid herself with this one which was my favorite of the trilogy which has recurring characters from her MacKenzie Vampires series. The dialog had me laughing out loud for a large portion of the book. If you want a funny, sexy, clever read this is the author and the books for you.

The only thing keeping me from giving this book 5 stars, is the fact that things kind of went a little TOO over-the-top wacky towards the end of the book. Even saying that, this book was still a joy to read. I have never come across an author who blends humor with steamy romance, better than Nina Bangs.

The third installment in this series follows the antics of the loved characters as in the other 2, with the main person being the third 'brother'. This is fluffy stuff. It is a good way to spend a couple of afternoons when you don't want to think and even if the 'happenings' are over the top, you don't care because it makes you laugh and you're having fun.

I like Ms. Bang's quirky sense of humour. The was a light and fun read. This third book in the Castle of Dark Dreams is fun. Conall O'Rourke has to suffer under a woman's thumb. Serving someone he considers his enemy is very amusing to me. Since it's a Ms. Bang's book, we know it's going to be a happily ever after.

I really like simple romance. I see, I like, let's figure it out... Liked this one.. 3.5 stars to maybe 4 for the invention of a sentient being baby.. that messed me up a little bit and the elaborate fantasy (seemed a little over the top). But however the story was interesting and kept my attention.

Book 3 of the Castle Of Dark Dreams trilogy. Once again, the side stories were almost better than the lead story. Lots of paranormal sex, action, and adventure. The chemistry felt a little off but I can totally forgive that. Lots of humor, standard for Nina Bangs, so it's a really enjoyable read. Sparkle Stardust returns in the next series - the MacKenzie Vampires.

I actually give this book 2 1/2 stars. This is another fun book by Ms. bangs but it wasn't as good as the last book but I still enjoyed. She's just a very funny, witty lady. Still a lot of fun characters. I felt like the story was a little rushed through. Can't wait to read the next one though.
