    One three real recipes I'm looking for diabetic friendly side dishes and getting so frustrated. So far, I can roast or saute vegetables or I can open a salad bag. I'm looking for soups, casseroles, creamy filling replacements for pastas and mashed potatoes. This had none of that it had alternative bakes with expensive ingredients and lots of protein recipes. Unless you are eating pancakes and muffins for breakfast everyday. And have no idea how to cook an egg or cook fish I say skip it.

    OK if you're into keto. Though my doctor advised me to end my keto diet.. After trying absolutely every kind of diet in the past, I lost 20 pounds in 6 months ...it was a TOUGH 6 months. . Her exact words were, "Any diet that won't allow you to eat an 🍎 apple , well, there has to be something wrong with it. Everyone needs apples, fresh fruit and veggies in their diet. So maybe it's fine if you want a quick flash drop weight, but definitely not for any kind of long term plan.

    What I want in a cook book It's got pictures, macros, and serving sizes. Bonus: the servings are small. Perfect for a family of 2 adults. Also, the language is good... meaning that the author sounds intelligent.

    Didn't even finish it. The recipes are not keto friendly: bananas, mangoes... The carbs listed don't always seem right, so I don't trust any. Full analysis of fat, protein, and carbs are never listed. If we're to be at the proper ratios we need that info.
