Not safe whatsoever. Manwhore gets virgin AGAIN. She’s been pining for him WHILE she watched him whoring around. What’s not to love, right? Oh and because she’s so devoted to her feelings for him she saved her virginity for him! The manwhore. Who sees her every, EVERY day and yet takes someone else home with him to fuck! So, nope, niyet, nada! We’re not going there. He is a massive manwhore and heroine knows all about it!

Not bad but wish these were a little bit longer. Mountain Man Cake is the second book from the Mountain Men of Linesworth series. It's interesting that these guys are deemed "mountain men" because I just don't see it. Kind of makes me laugh but I'm only here because these books go by so freaking fast. Plus the romance is hot and smutty when it needs to be. I could go without the little drama that unfolds but I guess it's there to grab my attention. In it, you will meet Maggie and Charlie. No idea, but I'm going to keep chugging along through this series.

Another short, sweet, and sexy book from Frankie Love! I like that these are fast paced and easy to get through, though I wish there was a little more development to the relationship. They go from kind of friends to getting married so fast! The story was cute and Maggie and Charlie make a good couple. I liked seeing him realize he loved Maggie and the fact that he was willing to do whatever it took to get her.

Making him a manho doesn’t work when you spend no time developing the characters or the story. Also, I hate it when the heroine essentially pines for the hero while he bangs anything that moves. Then when they do connect, he brushes it off in front of her brother. That was three strikes and I was out. My least favorite of the trio. This is the second Mountain Man sweet themed book by Frankie Love. If you read Mountain Man Candy then you're familiar with Clive's best friend and business partner, Charlie and Clive's little sister, Maggie. If you haven't read it then you really should because it's good and it helps to know all the characters when reading this book. Charlie and his two best friends, Clive and Luke started their own business together - Outdoor Expedition Tour Company in their quaint Bavarian town of Linesworth. Unfortunately Luke died five years ago and his two friends handled his death differently. Clive shut himself off to all women, not wanting to get close and then have something happen to him because he saw the pain his sister, Greta, who was also Luke's wife and their two kids, Lucy and Milo endured. Charlie was devastated by his death too and dealt with it by having sex with different women and partying like it was his last night on earth. Maggie and her older sister, Greta owned the local bakery in town called Two Sister's Bakery. Maggie has known Charlie all her life and she's been in love with him for as long as she can remember. Maggie is always the life of the party, she makes sure everyone is happy and always takes care of everyone. It's Octoberfest in their town and everyone is drinking and dancing so she decides it's time she makes a move on Charlie. Will Maggie finally get the happily ever after she's always wanted ?

We met Maggie in the first book of Mountain Man series and I was so glad that this made me love her even more. The saying what you want is closer than you think is definitely the case for our alpha H who has a reputation with the ladies. I loved Maggie's devotion since such a young age to her crush. This level of sweetness shouldn't be allowed. Frankie Love is one of my top authors for short because she will give you plot. great characters, and romance you absolutely want more of.

Firstly, what the fuck is wrong with his right titty (his left tit) in the cover? Secondly, waaaay too many bakery euphemisms for sex for my tastes. I'd say cheesy, but it's more like sickenly sugary. No, I don't need my jelly roll filled, thanks. That doesn't even make sense. Lastly, nothing special and boring.

Cute Quickie About the Girl Next Door In their small mountain town, she's the virgin bakery owner, and he's the local tourist attraction. That is, he shows lady visitors a good time, one on one. They've known each other for years but one night (and several shots of Jager) changes everything. Fun, sexy, and safe, this story is a terrific escape. Definitely recommend it.

Another nice, quick read from Frankie Love. Just like the first book in the series, the book is light with little drama and has a sweet, kind of cheesy, ending. Maggie finally finds some balls and initiates some sexy times, but her brother, sister, and sister-in-law accidentally ruin her and Charlie's post-coital bliss. This leads to Maggie believing she was just one of Charlie's regular type hook-ups. But of course, that's not true, and the two get together and get married. It's a quick, kind of cheesy, kind of cliché read, but if you want something light with an easy HEA, it's a nice afternoon read.

I received this book for a voluntary, completely honest and non incentivized review. Omg the baking puns, innuendos and wordplay in this book are as cheesy as they sound but timed perfectly and had, what I assumed would be, the author's desired effect! This is a short read but packs a punch. It's part of a series but can be read alone. It's entertaining, sexy and SWEET- yes, I went there.

Every once in a while I’ll read a second chance romance but not often and I only like them when there was a reason beyond the H & h control that kept them apart. I don’t like stories where the H is a man whore unless it was way in his past and he’s changed to only have eyes for the h. SO.... This guy has know her his entire life and never thought about her romantically. He’s a man whore to the highest degree and is trolling for a woman any woman minutes before having sex with the h. The h has not so secretly loved him her whole life, saved her virginity for him, doesn’t date other people, has spent years watching him whore around with a billion different girls and he admits that he knew that when she was younger she had a crush on him and he sees that might never have changed. He has sex with her anyway. He takes her virginity without knowing and never even kissed her mouth. Afterwards he makes light of it like it was not a big deal. There is nothing romantic or sexy about this AT ALL. Then in the space of days he’s changed his life, he loves her, he wants to marry her. She requires nothing from him other than his words to prove he’s changed. And there you go...they live happily ever after in the town where he’s slept with half the population and every tourist that’s ever come through town. Had he loved her when he way younger but her age kept him apart. Or if the death of his best friend who left behind a widow and children somehow affect his willingness to put someone he lived through that so he pushed her away and opted for meaningless relationships to save her from the pain of maybe losing him the same way since he has a dangerous job. I might have not hated him as much but he just seriously never had feelings for her. This story bummed me out.

Maggie even saved her v-card for Charlie since she has no interest in other men. She has always been afraid to act on her feelings but Hazel her brother's wife encourages her to try. Magie flirts with Charlie and sparks fly. She brings Charlie back to her bakery to give Charlie a taste of something sweet. They have a passionate encounter but the aftermath is a mess. Charlie discovers the condom broke and they are walked in on by Clive and his wife. Clive is upset that Charlie was messing with his little sister. Charlie reassures Clive that it was just a fling not knowing he was breaking Maggie's heart. Maggie decides that she is down waiting for Charlie and starts dating other men. She is cold to Charlie which really confuses him. Charlie has developed feelings for Maggie and wants to date her but she is giving him the cold shoulder. Will he ever be able to get maggie to forgive him and give him another chance? This is a great story! Charlie really turns his life around and I was happy to see Maggie get her man. I voluntarily received a copy of this story and this is my honest review.

Maggie drags her sister to the dance floor as Charlie notices that she has changed from “his best friend’s little sister” to a grown woman! Maybe he’s ready to settle down with one woman now? Hazel, in the meantime, has been urging Maggie to talk to Charlie and remind him that she’s interested in him. After a few more drinks, she convinces herself that she’s going to tell him how she feels. She walks over with some beers, shoves the out-of-town girls hanging all over him, and hands him a beer – then invites him to go for a walk for some air. To her surprise, he wants a cupcake at her bakery, so they walk that way. Every word out of her mouth should have told him how she feels – the innuendo seems lost on Charlie, however. So she gives him more hints, and licks the icing from her cupcake off her fingers. He’s finally getting the hints! This may be the only chance she has, and she has loved him almost all of her life. He’s her ultimate fantasy, she wants this night to remember, and it’s all that she dreamed of . . . until her family walks in on them, right after they found out the condom broke! Wow, the author packs quite a punch in this story! The story line is adorable, and the characters so likable that readers cannot help but cheer them on! There is so much feeling in this book and the author lets us experience every moment of it. Seriously, you need to read this for yourself. You will definitely enjoy it!

You may also remember that Maggie seemed to have a little bit of a crush of the manwhore Charlie, unbeknownst to Charlie, that is. See, Charlie and Maggie have known each other almost their entire lives- even if Charlie only ever saw Maggie as Clive's little sister, Maggie has always seen Charlie as the man she would grow old with. She has saved herself for years- her version of love, complete with children and white picket fence, all contained Charlie in it. Well, one tipsy night at Ocktoberfest in their small town, she gets her wish. Charlie finally sees Maggie as something more. He sees her as a woman. A woman that he wants. A woman that he needs. A woman that he intends to make his for the rest of his life. This would all be a perfect fairytale ending, except that after Maggie gets her hot and romantic prelude, Clive, Greta and Hazel happen to stumble in and interrupt. Oopsie. So, just imagine how Clive reacts to that? Yeah, that's how. Needless to say, it's not smooth sailing for our lovers for quite a bit. There are tears- mainly Maggie's, there are curses- mainly Charlie's, and there are threats- mainly Clive's. But eventually, the two make their way back to each other and Frankie Love gives us a glorious ending that we can all gush and squee over!! Absolutely worth every word. Do not hesitate to pick up this book, and this series, today. Pronto. It is awesome. Promise. 5 stars!!

Those who knew him before the accident know that deep down, Charlie is a really, really good guy, but he’s terrified to be hurt that deeply again. So, he keeps himself detached from women and carries on with his life. It breaks Maggie’s heart to watch Charlie cycle through meaningless women, but she has never gotten up the nerve to make her move. It’s no secret among their circle of friends that Maggie’s been in love with Charlie forever, but were it not for some goading and a lot of liquid courage, Maggie may never have had her dream night with her dream guy. The dream may not have been exactly as she imagined, since they get rudely interrupted by her over-protective brother and sister. Even more of a shock is the sweet surprise that resulted from their passion. It’s everything Maggie’s ever wished for, but will Charlie run for the hills when he finds out that he and Maggie have a mini cup-cake in the oven? Maggie's feelings were not forced, but Charlie's interest in her seemed a little too fast, even for my instalove reading tendencies. But, Charlie is able to put his big boy pants on and do the right thing, and I liked him for that. If you love short stories with instalove and lots of sugar references, then you should definitely check out this book! It's super sweet, short on story and character development (other than a little for Charlie, which was necessary), but it flowed well. The writing and editing were very good, and if you liked the previous book, then you'll like this one as well. It is low angst, despite the baby drama, because these two actually talk. Itt was nice. And super sweet.

The support she gets from her family is perfectly done - I really loved the way this book focuses on the strength of family regardless of the circumstances. This romance is as sweet and sticky as a plateful of cinnamon buns, and just as delicious. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

This series gets better and better. It has lots of chemistry, passion, emotional ups and downs. The characters are very well described and develops nicely. The story flows well. It is written in dual POV and the reader get to know both the main characters thoughts and feelings. Charlie and Maggie has known each other for ages and Maggie has a crush on Charlie. After a friends death Charlie has closed his heart and is a player with women. This story is sexy and has hotness to it. I like Charlie a This series gets better and better. A whole lot of emotions heat up and Charlie's and Maggie's rendezvous is interrupted. This is a great sequel and I can't wait for the next book.
