This is the second time that I was given an opportunity to receive a reading copy of the Hotel Transylvania Graphic Novel from the publisher. The 50-page comic book is another amusing installment in the story of Drac and his family. However, it is not easy to expand a business just like what Jonathan has planned. They faced a lot of troubles trying to provide a good service because of some creatures who always create mischief in the motel. Jonathan may be silly but his unwavering perseverance makes him a good person. There are several funny portions in the story, especially in the latter part of this issue.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. This was a fun little story with our favorite Transylvania heroes. The illustrations were very good, filled with vibrant colors, and the story overall smart and funny. An amusing little read.

Being a fan of the movies I had to read this one. I thought the characters were true to the movie and was happy to see Johnny did not give up. I think it was a great idea to do it in comic book form. The graphics were good and very vibrant. The storyline was also very good and kept your interest. Johnny tries to prove to his Father In Law Drac he can help to grow the family business. Little did he know there was unseen pranksters in the new motel. Hmmm… Never seen any HT movie, nor read any book. But this was alright. Just – not great, and perhaps not even that good. Characters are stereotypes to begin with, so it's easy to catch up with who's who and what's what, and all you need to concern yourself with is that some human bloke with a vampire father-in-law (bagsie his wife, for she's kind of cute) has an idea above his station, that of franchising out Motels Transylvania. Like I said, not that good, but not worth dismissing.

Love Hotel Transylvania and all the monsters that come to visit. This book was no exception. Johnny goes and buys a motel to help Drac and his guest, chaos ensues, will things work out in the end, read and find out.
