WOW! This is one of the first biography books I have read and Jeanne M. Lesinski has done an amasing job! It told me so much information about Bill's whole life! I also love the format that Just the Facts Biographys uses to do it. This book is for about grades 3+ because you do have to make a lot of inferincing (it doesn't give you too much obvious information).

After reading this following book, I understood the life of Bill Gates, Microsoft, and how he became successful. The biography mainly shows how he mostly fell in love with computers at such a young age. Early in the biography, it states how Bill Gates loved programming computers in the school he attended, and how he programmed a tic-tac-toe game. The biography also talks about how he enjoyed certain subjects in school, how he scored nearly perfect on his SAT, and how he attended Harvard University. During the process of reading this book, it states how Bill Gates craved technology and started off his business so successfully at such a young age. Towards the end of the story, it talks more about his personal life and the success of his business overtime. What I enjoyed mostly about this book was how interesting it was to learn about the personal life of one of the worlds richest men.

Book level - 7.4 The life story of Bill Gates and how he rose to fame by creating the company Microsoft Organization- This story is essentially the life story of Bill Gates. It first gives an overview of Bill's current life but then chronicles his life in a predictable sequence from his childhood, teen years and then his adult years. A biography like this would be useful for showing how biographies are formatted for if students were to complete a writing assignment on a famous person.

Even the richest men on earth have to start somewhere to get where they are now. This book tells the life story of Bill Gates and how he has now become the world famous billionaire. I have only read a few biographies in my life but out of the few I have read, I could easily say this one is my favorite. Most biographies seem to be way above my level and most of the information just flies right over my head. In this book I actually understood the information that was given and found it quite interesting. I learned a lot of cool things about Bill Gates like that he actually started computer programming in 8th grade. That was just the beginning though as he started spending hours a day on the computer just programming anything from tic-tac-toe to learning Beginner's All-purpose Symbolic Instruction Code. I would suggest this book to anybody looking for an interesting biography or if you are wondering how to become a billionaire.

I really liked this book. The story of Bill Gates is an amazing one. Like any biography it gave me information that I did not know prior to reading it. I think that the author did a really good job describing both his childhood as well as his adventures through starting Microsoft and being a leader of his company. He is a really smart man, one thing that helped Bill when starting Microsoft is that he knew all sides of the software business, he knew how to design and market all in an effort to appeal to the user. His software has made its way onto all computers (other than apple, by the way you should read the Steve Jobs biography). Like I was saying I really liked how the author described his personal life and it really gave a good backing as to why he did the things he did. Microsoft is now 31 on the fortune 500 list, pretty low in my opinion compared to apple. In the end I really liked the book and I know you will too.

WOOOW, I am really glad that a coincidence led me to choose this book and read it. This book is talking about the life of the one who established one of the most famous empires in technology "Microsoft", Sir Bill Gates. I liked in this book the interesting details about Gates that led him to achieve his dream of making computers on every desk and in every house. This book inspired me to work hard more and more so I can reach my dreams.

I think that this book was ok. I do not personally enjoy biographies. This one, though, was better for me because I love technology, and I'm a pc guy. People who enjoy biographies and love pc's, or just want to know about one of the world's richest men, would like this book. I think bill gates and his company are interesting. This made it better that a biography of someone who I don't care about.
