    M. Lynn has done it again with this fairytale retelling of Robin Hood. I love how she switches things around and makes The Hood a tough, butt-kicking female. As usual, the depths of the characters the author writes pull you right into the story and send you through a rollercoaster of emotions. I was worried Tyson wouldn't get his happy ending, but **spoiler** thankfully he did! There's action, romance and of course heartbreak. Another great one that you definitely don't want to miss!

*I recived this book from the author in exchange for an honest review* Nobel Thief is a genderbend retelling of robin hood. This book was everything I needed. I read Nobel Thief in just a couple hours. Once again I found myself falling in love with the characters from this world. As I have mentioned this before the books in this series can be read as a standalone. This book has some of the characters I first meet while reading Glass Princess. Honestly I wasn't for sure if I wanted a story for these characters but after reading it they became some of my favorite characters in the entire series. Tyson and Amalie are both too proud for their own good. One sent the other away and the other “abandoned” the other in their time of need. The plot of this book is fast paced and keeps you guessing. There was a few thing I predicted that came out right but it didn't disappoint me. As always the books have a lot of action and adventure. Not too much adventure in this one however. Once again I have to comment on how beautiful the covers for these books are. I wanted them printed and framed. They are seriously a work of art. Since this book is technically part of a series I don't want to go too much into the plot because of spoilers for previous books but this book can be read as a standalone if you just want to read a robin hood retelling.

I LOVE this world! I LOVE this author! This is such a great addition to The Fantasy and Fairytales series! There are a few of my favorite characters in this story, Edmund and Tyson to be specific, but I really couldn't grow to like some of the others. I think maybe it was because they are morally questionable, more like villains. With that being said, it means to me, M. Lynn did her job well bringing these characters to life. This is a world I do not want to leave because it feels like home and I am eagerly waiting the next book in this series! The ONLY reason I gave it 4 1/2 stars, yes 4 1/2 even though I can't show the 1/2 part, was the amount of back history. And I may not be judging this correctly since I am very familiar with history of all the main characters and do not need it. To a person just picking this book up and not familiar with any of her other books in the series it may be perfect. I hope that made sense. Thank you M. Lynn for another great tale!!

*I received this ARC in exchange for an honest from the author* Michelle did it again! I loved Noble Thief so much. Tyson has been one of my favorite characters in the Fantasy and Fairytales series from the start. I loved seeing him grow up and come into his own. I enjoyed getting to know Amalie better too but she irritated me because she just wouldn't communicate and made decisions without ever talking to the people it affected. She had good intentions but went about then badly and as any 16, 17-year-old would. I eventually came to like her a lot and I loved how her and Tyson's story ended. Of course, I was happy Edmund was such a big part of this book as he has been with every book. He's one of my all time favorite characters and I do not think I'd ever get tired of seeing him and his story. It was nice to have Etta, Alex, Stev, Helena, and Dell in this story too even if it was brief. I really enjoyed this Robin Hood retelling and I cannot wait to read the final book in this series that tells how all of this started.

3.5 STARS After the amazing Glass Kingdom and Glass Princess my expectations for Noble Thief were very high. Unfortunately with expectations, you can be disappointed. This was mainly due to the fact that I’m missing some of the backstory on Tyson and Amalie. I haven’t read the Rapunzel trilogy yet (the first 3 books in this series) and I think I’m missing some key information about the war against La Dame. Because of this, I didn’t feel as connected to Tyson and Amalie as I would have, had I read 3.5 STARS After the amazing Glass Kingdom and Glass Princess my expectations for Noble Thief were very high. There were some things about their relationship however, that I most definitely did not see coming. Don’t get me wrong, I still enjoyed this book very much! Except when it comes to her. Amalie Leroy was his heart, his home...until she cast him out of her life with no explanation as to why. When Tyson is summoned back to Gaule by his mother, she sends him on a mission for the Crown: to find the outlaw terrorizing her Kingdom. Little does he know that this task is going to bring him face to face with everything that he's lost. Amalie Leroy couldn't escape the legacy of her traitorous father. But, then, maybe they aren't as different as she thought they were. She'd once had everything her heart desired, but she couldn't enjoy it, couldn't just sit by while her people suffered. So, she sent her Prince away, and chose the life of an outlaw. But, now, her Prince is coming for her. What will they do when he finds out that the woman who still holds his heart is the woman he's been tasked to find? I adored Tyson throughout the stories of Etta and of Helena. He's got the biggest heart and the most irrepressible spirit. He's funny and irreverent, kind and loyal. To be honest, at first I didn't think Amalie could be good enough for him. She seemed bitter and angry. But, once I knew what she'd been through, I understood. I admired her loyalty to her people and her willingness to put everything she wanted aside for them. Tyson and Amalie's story was so fully of drama and intrigue, action and emotion. I was hooked from the very beginning. I never could have guessed Amalie's secret but it made perfect sense, once I found out. This is such an amazing addition to the series and I'm so glad to see Tyson get his "happily ever after"!

I have become a very big fan of Michelle Lynn since I have started reading her re-telling of Fairytales. The Noble Thief is a remake of Robin Hood and is absolutely breathtaking. From the beginning Tyson was a funny cheeky young lad who always made everyone smile in the some of the darkest of times. So to see him loose his spark and the love I thought would always be there was heartbreaking. Throughout the previous books we knew something monumental must have happened to split him from Amalie Though no hints was ever given. And I can’t give you any hints now. Just know your emotions will be tested and if like me, many tears will fall. You get to see the reasons behind the split and what Amalie has become today and why. Will there ever be a way back for them? Tyson is still a prince of Gaule and is commanded by the Queen his mother to track down a band of thieves and there leader the Hood. Tyson & Edmund both find themselves back at the home of Amalie as their search begins. The tension is palpable, the love that is buried begging to be unearthed. However time hasn’t been good to either of them, lies have been told and dangerous secrets held. M.Lynn will keep you mesmerised as this magnetic storyline unfolds and her imagination, ingenuity and inventiveness will keep you turning the pages until the words become blurred with lack of sleep as this is a story that is hard to put down. I wholeheartedly would recommend this series and this author to any lover of the genre of fantasy, mystery and magic.

After each book of the series I think, "This is my favourite." I guess that's because of the characters, especially the recurring ones we got to know and love in the very first book. This time, there are no new main characters introduced. Instead we follow the story of Alex's and Etta's brother Tyson. Whereas I imagined him before as an adorably cute and good-natured kind of guy, someone who's hardly ever in a bad mood, a carefree soul, I've got to see a different side to him in this book, a more conflicted one, somehow lonely and pained as well. I had a quite similar experience with his childhood friend Amalie. Their love story is simply amazing. They've grown apart due to their difficult positions in the kingdom of Gaule, Tyson being prince of both Bela and Gaule but mistrusted by the latter kingdom because of his magic, and Amalie being the daughter of a traitor. Additionally, Gaule is still in chaos and a new "threat" has come up, a Robin Hood like one. On top of that, Tyson and Amalie manage to stand in their own way most of the time. I don't know how many times my heart broke with theirs each time they were pushed further apart. Edmund, as always, has been the star of the story. I loved and laughed heartily about how serious he takes his uncle responsibilities. Only he can pull off stealing his nephew for extra snuggle time. I've heard that there will be another book published in this series and I'm very curious whom it will be about. It's good to know that I don't have to say goodbye yet to all these lovely characters. I can wholeheartedly recommend this series to anyone who loves fairytales.

I received a digital arc in exchange for an honest review. This is simply my opinion on the book and is not influenced by any external factor. Despite this, it still reads well as a standalone. A very creative spin on the classic Robin Hood tale, with two major twists: Robin Hood is a girl and a noble. We explore the story from the perspectives of Amalie and Tyson, and get snippets of their past together. They’re not together anymore, but their past makes up a huge part of this story. We also meet Friar Tuck and John Little (Little John), and the rest of the Merry Men. It was really well written in a way that hooks the reader, makes them want to continue reading. Right from the beginning, we are presented with action, adventure and mystery, and it doesn’t stop. The story alters perspectives and separates past from present clearly, in a way that does not confuse the reader. I don’t want to give much away, but expect to read about betrayal, murder, perseverance, loyalty, as well as (some clean) romance. Overall, this was an incredible story! Despite not having read the previous books in this series, Noble Thief has completely drawn me in and retold a popular tale in a captivating and creative story. Definitely recommend it to anyone who loves fantasy and retellings. I will definitely reread this in the future. RATING: 4/5

The main difference we see from the start is that Robin Hood - or, ‘The Hood’ - is a girl...and also a noble. Just like the classic Robin Hood, she feels a deep sense of loyalty to her people, and a strong desire to take care of them. I really liked the development of her character, and the fact that this story gave her a backstory and a history. To my memory, we never found out why Robin Hood became who he was, but here the history of The Hood is slowly revealed. The only thing I found slightly confusing was all of the names of nobles and places which were mentioned, however it seems like these other characters and events mentioned would be explained in the previous books in the series. I would definitely recommend this book; it definitely works well as a stand-alone, however I think to get the most out of the world, i would read them in order if I could read it again for the first time. Overall, an amazing, creative retelling of one of my favorite childhood stories.

I felt bad for her because of everything she had been through and the love/loves she lost. I was glad she had so many people that supported her and made sure she didn't feel so alone. I absolutely loved this book! This author M Lynn never disappoints! I noticed that some reviews said they were confused about who's who in this book. I must warn readers in advance to PLEASE read all the other books before this! There are 5 books ahead of this one: Golden Curse, Golden Chains, Golden Crown (Etta's stories); Glass Kingdom, Glass Princess (Len's stories), then comes this book Noble Thief. This is an amazing series. I loved getting to see Tyson and Amalie's story. This book also gives you updates on some of the other main characters we've seen and how they are doing. The "Robin Hood" approach worked really well with Amalie's character. While this is not a Robin Hood story, the general idea was used well and fit with the issues going on in Gaule. I appreciate books that aren't afraid to take risks and who don't always let everyone have a happy ending (not a spoiler). Can't wait to read more books in the series. If you've never read any of the books in the series, they do need to be read in order to understand the history and characters and you will also spoil the previous books if you pick up in the middle

I wholeheartedly recommend this book to one and all.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. I LOVED this book. I found myself transported back to the kingdoms that I have fallen in love with. I love how the author has created this world where each book is a new story, but ties into all of the other books at the same time. This book.... There were a couple of "on the edge of your seat" moments and other times where I found myself shouting at the characters. This whole series is full of friendship, love, danger and excitement. I love this new twist on the story of Robin Hood. I couldn't put it down, finishing it in less than 2 days. I can't wait for the next book!

Definitely yet another fantastic retelling!

This is the best retelling of Robin Hood that I have ever read. Not only that, but it's an overall amazing book! I loved being pulled into the world of Amalie and Tyson. Every single character in this story had depth and was three dimensional. Amalie and Tyson love each other, but circumstances and misunderstandings push them apart. This is the story of what happens when their paths intertwine once again.

Different from the others but probably my favorite. This story line flows differently then the previous books but was still very enjoyable to read and effortless. When I say effortless I mean I was able to lose myself in the story and go where the words took me without getting distracted by the plot. There were some doozy twists to the story that kept you on your toes. I especially loved how we got to see all the previous characters and babies!! I received a free copy for an honest review. Oh my gosh!!!! I think this book definitely describes how fighting a battle changes a person in many ways best. Tyson and Amalie both grew up in big ways after helping to fight La Dame. So much happened that for a minute there, I thought I wouldn't be able to finish it and keep my emotions reined in but I pulled through and I'm so glad I did. This was just as amazing as it was harsh at times. I'm pleased with how it ended and look forward to the next I received a free copy for an honest review. Oh my gosh!!!! I received this book as an ARC for my honest review. I heart this series so much, and love this Robin Hood classical remake with Tyson. Plus a female character that showed just how much a person loves another and tries to do right. Either way she was bad ass. I definitely recommend this series to those who joy fairytale retellings. Wow, a fantasy telling of the story of Robin Hood with a twist. A wonderful story of "the Hood" stealing food and supplies for the downtrodden commoners of the local village. A queen that doesn't seem to care and a prince that has no idea of what is going on. A touch of magic, that is outlawed, and a ragged band of "merry men" make this a sure fired fairytale. Unfortunately, it is not all as it seems and there are many undercurrents going on throughout the book. I loved this Robin Hood retelling (or The True Story of Robin Hood, as the author calls it!), and the fact it can be read as a standalone story is a plus. However, read as part of the series (and I'd highly recommend it, because the stories are all AWESOME!) you really get an added depth through your prior knowledge of the characters and all they've been through. It's a brilliant tale, and I'd highly recommend it to all lovers of the series, or of fairytales where true love really can conquer al I loved this Robin Hood retelling (or The True Story of Robin Hood, as the author calls it!), and the fact it can be read as a standalone story is a plus. A fantastic read in the series. As they do what they can to get Tyson. The hood must remain a secret. This read grabs you from the first page. And keeps you on the edge of your seat. This series just gets better and better. I love how I can read and feel that I am living the story vicariously through the Characters. The Authors description of the Characters and the scenery makes this to me a real page turner. I definitely recommend this read. Shauna Joesten

A adventurous and exciting retelling of Robin Hood. I love this author's characters. I've connected with them in each book I've read and this was no different. My heart ached at times for Ames and Ty, for her plight and the need to protect those she loved. I've read a few of M. Lynn's books and she never disappoints. This is only the second book in this series I've read and I've thoroughly enjoyed both books and hope to pick up more in the near future.

This is a retelling with a very different twist. Set in the same world as the other books in this series, in The Noble Prince we get to explore the story of a beloved character from some of the other books. Tyson currently lives in Bela where his sister is queen. In this country full of magic, he can be himself without fear. If his mother wasn’t the queen of Gaule, he would stay in Bela permanently. All seemed well until Amalie was drawn back to Gaule and the running of her family’s estate. The distance finally drove Tyson back to Bela, leaving his heart behind with Amalie. No matter what he has done since he can’t purge Amalie from his soul. Now called back to Gaule on a mission for his mother, Tyson knows he will not be able to stay away from Amalie. Will he find the reason for the rift? Amalie carries her own secrets.
