This is beautiful and eerie poetry that stirs the soul. I loved every second of it, and thought that the authors were magic with their words and poems. This is just the type of dark poetry that I love and have an impossible time finding. It was also one of the better poetry books that I read in 2019. Five stars!

I won this in a goodreads giveaway in trade for my honest review. I rather liked this. Doesn't read like a lot of the poetry you come across today. It's a bit... darker. I almost want to say old-fashioned, but that doesn't accurately convey the feeling. I recommend.

I received a free ebook edition of this collection through a giveaway hosted on GoodReads. J. J. Edward Neill’s The Moon Is Forever is a lovely collection of poetry, full of imager and emotion to keep readers coming back for more with every page. I will admit, I could not quite appreciate the meaning of every poem in the collection, but I could still recognize Neill’s vast skill, and was in awe of his use of words and descriptions to still wrap his readers in emotional connections, working their minds even if the exact thoughts it elicits aren’t clearly defined. I often found myself saying I only wished to read one more poem before switching to another task, but the pages flew by and I suddenly found that 5, 10 minutes or so had passed since I had made the decision to take a break. As such, I invite others who enjoy deeply personal-feeling verses to read this collection, and see what emotions and interpretations you can draw from it.

I won this book on Goodreads (Kindle version) for an honest review. I found this to be a rich, and beautifully dark set of poems that are stirring to ones inner core. I don't usually care much for poetry types of books but, found this to be a refreshingly wonderful read and am so glad I did win a copy. I will cherish this book and come back to it often.
